Hello, I'm Jessica & I am a photographer specialising in performance Headshots & Portraits.

Having trained in the performance industry myself I completely understand how important your headshot is, & how expensive & daunting it can sometimes be. This is why I make sure my sessions are fun, laid back & reasonably priced. I try to capture the true essence of YOU. We will chat about casting types & I might steer you in a particular direction if your casting type is very strong, or if you are wanting something very particular, but generally I focus on just capturing a good photo of you, the you that will walk through the audition door. I will never ask you to be anything other than yourself during the shoot & strive to capture the most natural shots. Most actors actually hate having their photograh taken so I try & make them treat it more like an acting exercise rather than a ‘photo-shoot’. Clients are always amazed by how informal & efficient the session is - which means they always leave me feeling very relaxed! Also laughing is very important, just for general life, so I try to make you laugh as much as possible.

For the past four years I have been photographing under a tunnel along the canal in Lapworth. As lovely as it was, I now want to expand so I can be more flexible in the types of imagery I produce, & not have to rely on the weather; so I have recently invested in my own indoor / outdoor studio in Bromsgrove which officially opened January 2019. I say indoor / outdoor as it has the luxury of both. I mainly use natural light for headshots on the porch of the studio which is exactly how I used the tunnel outside. For the headshot & portrait session I use a mixture of natural & soft artificial light. So you really do have the best of both worlds! My location is incredibly close to the motorway & only seven minutes away from Bromsgrove train station which has direct links to Birmingham New Street. Full location details are given out upon booking.

Please head to the investment page for further details on both sessions.

I would also advise reading my FAQ’s before getting in touch & booking your session as this will go into more detail.
